Client presentations should be more text heavy than portfolio presentations to potential clients
You should explain all of your decisions, which shows all of the research you did to prepare and design
You need to explain your intentionality of your design choices so the client knows that everything was chosen with a purpose
Explain your logo, and break it into visual pieces if needed to explain the different concepts wrapped up in it
If using a wordmark, explain the meaning behind it as well
Show some of your brainstorming and sketches
You could also show how the logo looks while on a grid (screenshot while working on it) and then explain the spacing
Show how the logo can be featured as black and white and with color and/or filled in, etc. to show it's versatility
Have a page to present the font with a description of what the font means
Explain the meanings behind the serif/sans serif and why you chose it
You could also feature a menu/brand package using the font, or you could just create a page that features all of the different weights/varieties available
At this point you should start to show some mockups if you have not already
If your client has a product that you did a packaging design for, make sure to feature that as well
Be creative with your color palette presentation
Don't just use a color wheel, but figure out a more creative way to feature it somehow referencing the company/brand
Name your colors to match the company's brand language
Feature your icons if you created special ones for their website or packaging
Consider showing a digital mockup (homepage on a computer screen or phone), even if the company is not online
This will show that you are thinking to the future for them, and hope that they will hire you to design for them in the future
Use your client's typography, colors, etc. throughout your client presentation to create cohesion
Put a headline on each page to sum up what it is about
Page by Page Details
